Before I turned 16, before I stopped dating, whenever I would talk to a guy, their friends would warn them that I’m “everyone's girl”.

When you date so many people you start taking the endings less seriously. To most people, having an ex in their class is a big deal, one that they get jitters over, but to me it's a common theme recurring in every single class. I have so many exes, they're all around me, I don't even notice them. Sometimes I forget we even dated them until it occurs to me when some random person brings it up. Sometimes I'll see one of my first exes and I get excited but when they don’t feel the same I remember it's because to them I'm just an ex, but to me, they were the first from many more to come. So many exes means forgetting the bad details about each one, but it also means having so many people that remember bad fears about me. They still hate me but I've long forgotten. People say time heals all wounds, but I know my friends who have 1 or 2 exes from relationships that happened so many years ago, and they still avoid those guys like the plague for; but I feel immune to the “unspoken plague”. I’m ready to joke around with a 6 month old ex, thinking the relationship ended so many guys ago, so why not just treat them normal. Isn't it ironic that in a world supposedly designed for relationships, the more you’ve had, the more people look down on you; but when you're everyone's ex, you're happier?
